Clan : The Order of the Green Cross

The Order of the Green Cross, founded by Ethir Wraithwain, who was never knighted.

The Order was formed at the Command of the Master, from whom the Order draws its inspiration and wisdom and strength.

The Knights of the Order are brothers in life and in death. Once the oath is taken, it binds for life. Ending only when the oathtaker betrays the Order.

The Order is lead by the Lord Commander, the one who speaks directly to the Master. Under him is the First Lord and the First Knight they bear the same power in the Order and perform similar duties. Under them are the two Lords of the Steel, the two Lords of Wisdom. These Seven are called The Council. They decide on how to best fulfill the given task.

The rest of the Order are simply called the Knights of the Green Cross, who are held in the same esteem as the Lords of the Council. For none are greater than his brethren. They are merely spared from the pains of planning and politics.

"Honor. Truth. Courage. That is my life." These are the words that the Order holds dear. Show no fear, and show no deceit.

If you wish to join us, you have several options open to you. Attempt to seek out the now-elusive Ethir Wraithwain, or cry out to the Master and hope the Raven hears you, or visit our forums and swear your oath there.

Consider an invitation a great thing. The Master enlightens us to those who are able to become great knights. In most cases, you are to swear an oath before being invited. If you are invited, we are free to choose. Should you accept, you must swear the oath on the forums, where other knights may witness.
